One of the hardest times in my life came after I left Ohio State University. I had big dreams of going pro and making football a successful career and unfortunately, due to a few injuries and not staying focused on my goals, I had to stop playing.
I got a job working with the government and I was making great money, but I still wasn’t happy.
Since I wasn’t as active as I was when I played sports and let’s be honest, over-indulging in comfort food, I started putting on weight, which only made me feel worse.
It was hard for me to go out, hard for me to hangout with my friends and family because my confidence was gone. I wasn’t passionate about what I was doing and just wasn’t happy.
